This is the page for all your back story, personality and reference sheet needs.
All of the characters listed here will appear in the comic in one way or another. The characters near the top are the main/semi-main characters in the comic and all belong to their respected artists in the comic itself. Side characters are located near the bottom, and none of the creators are artists in the club. (excluding *Kini-Kinoku)
Wren
Wren's parents were considered royalty within the clan she was born into. The line going back to her distant ancestors all had a special ability; A type of division of a Pokémon move "Secret Power", although much stronger than any creature of that world could manifest. The breed's relation to the legendary Latias amplified the special power, making them able to physically manipulate any part of the environment they resided in. Wren's mother carried a direct line of blood for this ability and passed it down to her. She was born in secret from the rest of the clan into a small litter of 4 Painted Latifox. But having this incredible ability is also a curse to the next generation. Only the female with the strongest gene would be able to survive. Shortly after the little Latifoxes were brought into the world, they all died off leaving Wren as the sole inheritance of the Secret Power. Her parents grieved for their lost pups... and knowing that if she were to grow up in the same place her mother did, Wren's life would be one of loneliness and filled with jealously from carrying such a gift. After a merely a week of Wren being born, they decided to leave her in the care of a far away clan thinking it would be the only way for her to lead a normal life. They traveled for days... their only stop besides their destination was to an extremely old and frail Froslass living in a remote cave surrounded by Snorunt and Glaie. Meeting up with her they told their story and had Froslass create an artifact with dark energy to seal Wren's abilities. It was strung around her neck and has remained there since that day. It now being completely covered by her adult fur. She has barely any memory of her parents, and now resides in the very clan that they left her in to flourish as an everyday Painted Latifox.
To this day, her parents efforts have payed off. She is unaware of the seal or her abilities that she carries, and has many friends within the clan and surrounding Pokémon territories. Her best friends are the neighboring Nidorans. They constantly go out on adventures collecting berries, picking spars with other Pokémon, and venturing out into the tundra. Her mate back at the clan is Paw; A green tinted Latifox with a mischievous side and a hidden psychic ability as well. They tend to balance out each other and keep one another in line. Although most of the time Wren is very shy around him and other creatures. She avoids crowds within the clan, which is part of the reason why she constantly goes out with her few Nidoran friends. She's very driven to do anything she sets her mind to and can be a bit obsessive about it depending on the situation.
Having the gift of a natural born leader and very trustworthy, most of the Latifox in her clan come to her when they have a problem and need guidance. Knowing that none of their conversations would ever get out into the open. Also helping with these sessions is her ability to block out emotions and think of the situations from a more logical standpoint instead of getting caught up in the clan's drama.
Back at her den she keeps a handmade scarf from dyed Pokémon fur and brown goggles that she found buried in the snow a long time ago. She wears them on occasions to remind her of her distant legendary heritage of the Eons. Constantly dreaming of flying as they do, she imagines the air to be clean, icy and very windy. Having these accessories furthers her fantasies to the sky.
She also loves snow and crushing berries over snowballs to eat them as humans call them: "Slushies".
Freeze and Paw

Tempest
Female pikachu with green eyes and her tail is always held high. She has a scar in it, as if a chunk of it was bitten off. She wears a lightball around her neck.
She's aggressive and hot tempered when it comes down to humans. She hates pokemon trainers who treat their pokemon like slaves and she hates them for letting themselves being used even more. But she has a sweet side and cares deeply for her friends. She loves to fight, but wouldn't hurt her friends badly. She's not so good with coming up with plans (her usual plan: ATTACK THE FRONT!) She enjoys wild life and she's friends with the Latifox (or she could randomly meet them, too :3)
Buster Bullets
Buster Bullets is a massive, good natured rhyperior. His appearance, from his rough, battered armor, to his broad smile, reflect his personality, tough and rugged, but friendly and cheerful. Like all Rhyperior, Buster can load just about anything into his hands and fire them like cannons, but Buster has figured out how to fashion his own shells by grinding rocks or metal against his horn drill. His own shells are much more accurate than standard rubble, and when special materials are added to his personal arsenal, like blast seeds, he can end up with an extremely destructive payload. Buster carries his bullets around in a large bandoleer he keeps slung over his shoulder. His bandoleer has a bag on the back, where Buster probably stores his near endless supply of cigars. Buster is never seen without a huge cigar hanging from his mouth. What they are made of and where he gets them are unknown.
Even though Buster is very friendly, he is still a terror in battle. He can send a devastating barrage of shells and rubble raining down on his opponents. When out of ammo, (or just in the mood to get his knuckles dirty,) Buster can strike like a living wrecking ball, flattening foes left and right with tremendous blows from his fists, tail and horn. His armor is so thick, Buster often doesnít notice hits from physical attacks. Because of his thick armor, colossal strength and aptitude to raise Hell, Busterís idea of fun can lead accidental destruction of property and injuries to those around him.
Buster loves to wander, partially because he is a restless adventurer, and partially because he canít settle down in one spot to long, due to the fact that he usually accidentally ends up destroying that area. In Busters most recent travels, he found himself lost in a blizzard for weeks. When the blizzard let up, Buster found himself in a mysterious tundra.
Pandi
Pandi has a disability to fly (even though he has wings), and his long ears make him a slower runner. However, he has a high avoid-ability, aka, very flexible. He has no sense of direction, and doesn't know when something is dangerous or not (so you can basically say that he doesn't know when to be scared. o.o) Also, Pandi CAN'T talk, the only thing he can say are: Pa-a, Pandi! Pandipaa... (basically, anything that sounds like or contains his name)
Pandi's parents, Plusle and Minun, created him at the Day-Care center. That's when Plusle (the mother) accidentally ate a soothe bell, so that's how Pandi was born WITH the bell. Once the owners of the Day-care center discovered Pandi's existence, they thought up some crazy myth and claimed Pandi's bell to be some kind of sign from Jirachi and he himself a 'brother' of the legendaries. That's when the humans began going nuts and trying to capture him. Pandi's parents were unfortunately 'murdered' while they were trying to protect him.
All in all, Pandi was never caught, and the truth about the bell, is still a mystery... however, if the bell is seperated from its owner for more than 3 hours, the owner will die. So now, Pandi wanders away, trying to hide and escape... but at the same time comically walking along his life.
That was untill 'somebody' saw the marking on Pandi's back, and claimed him to be a Painted Latifox... which brought up even more tension.
Pandi's life still remains to be a mystery...

They have been chosen because of good taste in design and being seemingly
helpful to the story's progression. I have listed next to them a general idea of
how they would be able to fit in.
The characters are in the order of how often they'll come up and or are used.
Edmund and Lucetta
????
She is a mute girl who haunts around various Latifox clans. No one knows where she came from, who her parents are or even her name. Her long tail and unusual markings have created many rumors around her. Many think that she is a more direct line to their ancient fox relatives, but no one knows for certain. Some call her the "Eevee girl" as well for her tail and height. Because of these rumors, she constantly hides her tail between her legs in shame. Her head is always to the ground and she is very flinchy to loud noises and sudden movements.
She recently came across Wren's clan and made some sort of telepathic connection with Freeze. She has no dedicated her time to following Freeze around from a distance. And because of it, it's been the longest amount of time that she's spent at a Latifox clan
Chomp
A lonely little beast that is smaller in size to his sister and far more timid. He is always staying out of the way and keeping to himself whenever he can. When he is with someone he tends to be quiet and avoid playing any game or doing anything that requires movement. Although when he's with familiar creatures he's very playful and always tries to lighten the mood when the going gets rough.
He got the piece of his ear ripped out when he got into a fight with three other Painted Latifox. After the fight no one saw him for a week.
When he keeps to himself he goes to a place he has only shown his sister. A hidden place underground with an entrance hidden by large moss blankets. The underground place is illuminated only by a breed of rose that glows in the dark, and by a fish that also glows that lives in the underground lake.
When he is with others he may seem distant but alone he is quite a happy go lucky guy. He spends his time chasing spirits and running through fields. Also he loves to bat at the fish in his hidden place.
Alice
The way he would help out the group is mainly by healing. Alice was always good with plants, and knows what ones can help/harm. He also can tell what is poisonous or not, so he could help find food.

Raven

Her parents abandoned her along with her litter-mates when Raven was extremely young. They lived out in the wilderness for only a few days before being separated by an intense blizzard, and before long Raven was alone shivering under an angled stone for protection. Once the storm subsided she ventured out, calling in high pitched tones to her siblings. Disappointed, she head out and discovered an uninhabited cave which she continued to live in for many months. While on a hunting expedition, she stumbled across another Latifox. Out of curiosity, she followed the creature back to Wren's clan. Although her efforts to remain hidden were fruitless and she was discovered and taken into the clan by one of the Latifoxes. Although when the clan members tried to communicate with her all she could say were random grunts and squeaks. Because of her isolation from such a young age, she was never able to learn to speak.
Despite this fact, the Latifox clan took her in and since then she has learned to understand most of the language, but she still has a hard time telling other people what she's thinking. She's generally a very happy-go-lucky girl, but she gets very frustrated when she can't say something correctly, if at all.
Oppenheimer
Oppenheimer is quite old (He'd be 40 or so if he were a human), so he has been around for awhile. Not much is known about his past, mostly because he doesn't talk about it much, along with other things. He doesn't believe in myths or the like, and therefore has made it his own duty to find out how the world really works with science. And with that he thinks he knows everything, meaning he's quick to point out the flaws of others and their ideas. Very serious and grumpy, he dislikes it when younger Latifoxes (or anything younger than him) make loud noises when playing and goofing around, and if they break something anywhere. Though he is friends with some of the younger ones, he acts no different. Unless he's drunk. If you get a few beers in him, he's a totally different person; one who's happy and jolly, laughs and plays, and is also very perverted, which leads to him getting smacked and then passing out. As you can imagine, this happens quite a lot. He lives in a fairly large igloo, which is dimly lit, and filled with notes and papers all over the floor. It also has odd devices which Oppenheimer has either made or discovered, and a "lab", which is really just 2 test tubes in a corner.
Athena
-Likes: History, Cold Weather, Older people, and Bitter foods
-Dislikes: Summer, Her father, sweet foods, and Hot-heads.
-Personality Type:
Like her namesake, Athena is intelligent and strong-willed. She likes to take control of the situation, and make sure that no one get’s out of line. She’s kinda like a strict-ish protective mother type.
(Miles) Zangoose
He's a huge Zangoose, and he has thick, soft fur (not that anyone has gotten close enough to him to tell... or have they?). He wanders the arctic alone; a nomad in the snow. He hunts other creatures living there, no matter the species. He has yet to be injured to the point where scars are left, much less lose a fight.
VERY quick outline of back story:

> Boy eventually grew tired of him, and traded him for something 'rarer, stronger, and more interesting'

> Eventually sold to scientists
> Tested on. Which led to him becoming very powerful and huge

>His name is Miles, but he has mostly forgotten that by now. Not that anyone in the area would know it anyway.
